What is Silver? Silver is an transition metal which has the highest eletrical conductivity and the highest thermal conductivity of any metal. Silver is also valued as precious metal. Some uses of silver are,

So you can see that silver is actually a very important metal. Therefore the demand of silver will keep on rising. If the demand increase, the price of silver will increase too. It is calculated that the amount of silver on earth will last probably another 15 to 20years.

Gold price moving sideway before shooting up!!! Same for silver (:

United State first printed paper US currency in 1862 to make up for the shortage of coins and to finance the Civil War. From 1862 till 2008, it's about 146 years. The total amount of money printed by US is close to $900billion. On average, $6billion is added every year. But from Sep 08 to Jan 09, The total amount of monetary basse hit $1.8trillion. Within 4 months, the monetary base doubled.

The total public debt that US is having as of 31st Dec 2010 is about $14.03trillions. Amount of Gold left in United States Bullion Depository is 147.4million troy ounces.
Debt is increasing, amount of gold declining.

Price Of Silver (Way to go !!)

As i'm writing this post, the price of silver is currently standing at approximately $28.66USD. So what's so special? Because the above graph shows that Silver was once at a all time high of $50USD around the 1980. Meaning to say, the current silver price is way, way, way, way too low !!!!!

Price of Silver per ounce

Start of 2009- $11.20USD

End of 2009- $16.89USD (+51% or $5.70USD)

Start of 2010- $16.89USD

End of 2010- $31.11USD (+83% or $14.00USD)

So ideally...

Start of 2011- $31.11USD

End of 2011- $66.88USD?? (+115% or $35.77USD)??

I've also realised that the ratio between the two precious metal, namely Gold (XAU) and Silver (XAG) is starting to close up.

By end of 2009, the ratio was about 63:1

By end of 2010, the ratio was about 46:1 (-17)

So assuming the ratio gap keep closing up but not as much as 17units. Let's take it at half which is 8.5units. So....

By end of 2011, the ratio should be 38:1 (-8.5)

There are lesser physical silver on surface than physical gold for the investor to buy and furthermore, silver is more commonly used. With silver being more practical in any and everyway, the XAU and XAG ratio will definitely close up.

I believe this year, will be the year where the Silver will soar all the way to the sky and create a new all time high. So my prediction for the price of XAG by end of 2011 will be $65USD per ounce.

This cycle only benefit those that invest in precious metal. So what are you waiting for??

I'll fight from nothing again !!

Starting from today, i'll be constantly updating this blog. As to what i'm doing and what i'll be doing to improve myself and make full use of the opportunities i have in 2011. This also serve as a diary to me, because i want to write down every single thing that i do that change my life, from nothing to something.

Just to list out some of the things that happened in 2010 before i go on to my resolutions for 2011.

2010
-Kick out of Ngee Ann Polytechnic due to failing a module twice
-Stop working for Euroclass （Before April)
-Enlisted in the army (16/04/2010)
-Went AWOL soon after (approxi from 23/06/2010 till 11/10/2010)
-Surrender back to camp and went DB for a 9 weeks sentence

So as you can see, all the crap happened to me during 2010. But those stuff are not going to happen again.

For 2011
-I hope that my family and my love one will be safe and healthy
-Hope that my luck will get better and i can excel in everything i do
-Pay off everything that i should and start to multiply after that
-Hope to have a very happy and fruitful 2011 !!

Anyway, i feel that this year will be the most important year for me. Not because i'm getting married or what, but because i've set myself a goal and this goal will in turn, change my whole life. I'm turning 22 this year. Time really flies and i've got no more time to lose. I will make full use of it and i hope, by the end of 2011, i can achieve what i've set for myself !!
